Ahead of his debut film score premiere at this years Amsterdam Dance Event, we are treated to this incredible synth pop mix from live techno legend Marc Houle.

Some people may know Marc Houle, some people may not. But if you don’t, you probably should. The Canadian techno legend and analogue synth lover continues to push the boundaries of his ever-evolving live show. Kitted out with custom made sequencers, Houle is one of the few electronic music producers to go against the grain, establishing themselves as live act instead of a DJ. With his multifaceted talents, Houle is set to perform his debut film score live at the this years Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

The producer’s original score for 1920s silent Japanese film ‘Page of Madness’ will make its premiere on 15 Octoberat the Melkweg Cinema, part of the Films @ ADE programme presented by Cineville, Melkweg and DJ Broadcast (you can watch the trailer here). Ahead the film premiere, Marc has delved into another passion of his… Synth Pop! This incredible mix sees Marc explore his love of synth pop and rock through this near 2-hour mix that goes through Michael Garrison, The Rorschach Garden and Human League.
