Following in the footsteps of Sunflower Bean’s Julia Cumming, and The Garden, Staz Lindes, from LA band the Paranoyds and her brother Misha of SadGirl are the latest musical muses to be shot by Hedi Slimane in a series of 10 black and white portraits. Instead of being decked out in Saint Laurent’s finest, Staz, who had her Saint Laurent catwalk debut at the brand’s spring/summer 16 show, and her brother are shot in their own clothes, looking every inch the indie cool kids that they are. Introducing star of the moment: Staz Lindes.

Favourite models of the moment? Lily McMenamy, Lili Sumner, Georgia Pratt – they stay true to who they are and are doing their own thing.
Describe your personal style… It depends what kind of day it is but I’m either very feminine or very boyish. Sometimes mature but mostly adolescent.
Where will we see you in 2016? Hopefully on the floors or couches of many new friends’ houses whilst touring around America.
