Starting on Monday, one of Colette’s windows will be dedicated to Sacai’s alphabet to tie in with Sacai A to Z, a new book published by Rizzoli. On the same day, Chitose Abe, designer of the Japanese label, will be signing copies at the Parisian boutique. After starting as a designer in Rei Kawakubo and Junya Watanabe’s team for Comme des Garçons, she founded Sacai in 1999. The book is a journey into Sacai’s world from highly conceptual designs to very wearable pieces. With more than 200 photographs and essays by fashion journalists, the reader will acquire all the knowledge about the Sacai creative process and can learn the history of the label. Chitose Abe will be present from 6pm to 7pm on Monday 9th of March.
