I was scouted at Notting Hill carnival last year by Elite London.

    Rosie Huntington-Whitely, she’s so beautiful!

If you could be photographed by anyone in the world past or present, who would you choose?

    Freedom!!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Never mind – worse things happen at sea.

If you could ask the world one question and get an answer, what would you ask?
Let’s finalise this issue once and for all – peanut butter or jelly?

What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Flying to Paris on Valentine’s Day – it kills me that my friend is actually doing this!

I was scouted at a Vampire Weekend concert at the O2, just over a year ago.

If you could be photographed by anyone in the world past or present, who would you choose?
Steven Meisel, because he’s such an iconic photographer.

What’s the best thing about being young today?
I think that, compared to our grandparents, we have far less social issues that hold us back and therefore have more freedom to choose the futures we want.

What’s your social media of choice and why?
I absolutely love Instagram because I think a photo gives such a detailed version of what people have been up to, from best friends to celebrities.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
You are not better than anyone, yet no one is better than you.

If you could ask the world one question and get an answer, what would you ask?
I think I’d like to do an official poll and find out whether more people love marmite or hate it.

What slang word/phrase do you use the most and what does it mean?
The one that stands out to me most, because I get annoyed whenever I say it, is “yeah no I know” instead of just “yeah I know” ever since someone pointed out to me that it doesn’t make any sense.

    Scarlett Rose Gray, 17, Sussex

    How were you discovered?
I sent some photos off to my now mother agency Elite London and they asked me to come up and visit.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modelling?
Stressing more about my A levels than I currently am.

Mario Testino; he’s worked with the greats!

If you could walk any runway in the world, who’s would it be?

Being a Brit I’d have to say Burberry first. I would also love to do Alexander McQueen because of the theatrical elements in the shows. Hermès too because I own a vintage scarf of my grandmothers and think that their designs are timeless.

What’s the best thing about being young today?
This might sound cliché but technology. I would literally be lost without my iPhone and Citymapper to get me around! I don’t know how people managed pre-smartphones!

Tumblr because there’s less pressure to be constantly active and it’s filled with random funny posts.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

“Stop plucking your eyebrows NOW!” It was the first thing my Booker told me just before I was signed. I’m grateful to her for that advice and for saving me from the tweezer demon before it was too late!

“Mum can you help me with this i-D interview please!?”

What slang word/phrase do you use the most and what does it mean?
Kawaii! It means cute in Japanese and it’s the only part of the language I picked up after spending 6 weeks in Tokyo. I use it all the time!

…film? Mean Girls; its a classic chick flick!
…album? I’m torn between AM and Favourite Worst Nightmare by Arctic Monkeys.
…place to go out? There’s not much around where I live so Nandos probably.
…place in the world? Venice! The buildings and canals are really pretty and there’s so much to explore.
