Fashion photography legends Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot have teamed up for some of the most recognizable magazine covers, fashion campaigns, and album art in recent history. It’s almost easier to think of fashion icons and iconoclasts who haven’t been photographed by the duo than ones who have. In the 20+ years since they first started working together in 2004, they’ve shot everyone from Rihanna and Björk to Naomi Campell and Kate Moss — including Kate in a bunny suit for Playboy‘s 60th anniversary issue in 2014, and Kate in a second-skin leopard catsuit for i-D‘s Individual Issue in 2003.
For their first-ever solo exhibition, the prolific duo will showcase just nine color photographs and nine black and white ones, all taken between 2001 and 2014. The intimate show will take place at the Mayfair HQ of London auction house Phillips, and if you can fork out for flight tickets, make sure to pocket some extra cash/credit cards — every photograph exhibited will be available to purchase. You’re probably looking at $20,000+ for an iconic photo of Kate, Cara Delevingne, or Lara Stone.
“Mert & Marcus: Works 2001-2014′”will go on display at Phillips in London from October 24 to 3 November 2016, before traveling to Phillips’ gallery in Paris from November 9 to 16 2016.
