Since 2013’s Y.A.L.A video, produced by i-D, we haven’t seen many new music videos from M.I.A. Having teamed up with GENER8TION for his new Bromance-released EP The New International Sound (Part.II)‘, the record’s track receives a video directed by Inigo Westmeier. The project was executive produced by M.I.A’s creative of choice, Roman Gavras, who directed her controversial video for Born Free.

M.I.A. and GENER8ION don’t feature in the video; instead the short features the 36,000 students of Shaolin Tagou, the biggest fighting school for kids in China. The video’s director, Westmeier, previously made a documentary following three students trying to make their name in the world of Kung Fu fighting, and this video is an adaptation of that story.

GENER8ION’s EP is available now through Bromance Records.
