Miley Cyrus has faced her fair share of criticism for the content of her music videos. It seemed like everyone with a Twitter account weighed in on the Terry Richardson-directed Wrecking Ball video that saw her lick a mallet and ride naked on a wrecking ball.
However, her position is not that ‘anything goes’ in music videos, a position she voiced in an interview with Marie Claire. The singer had a few questions about the music video event of the year, Taylor Swift‘s star-studded action film for Bad Blood, in which two sets of high heel-clad super heroes go to war.
“I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example?,” Miley says, adding, “And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.” Fair point.
Miley also spoke about her charity, the Happy Hippie Foundation, which supports LGBTQ and homeless youth.
