Miley Cyrus appears alongside best mate Zoë Kravitz in the video for Bitch, the latest single from Kravitz’s band LOLAWOLF. In a grainy, flickering, VHS-style film, Kravitz is seen waking up in a small motel room and calling Miley, who arrives in a white jumpsuit, before striping down to her undies, of course. The pair dress up, undress, smoke weed, fire toy guns, play cards, take selfies and stick googly eyes to their butts in perhaps the epitome of the modern sleepover.
“Who’s the bad ass bitch that nobody heard that everybody heard of?” Kravitz sings in the chorus of the song, perhaps referencing her huge, ready-made fame as the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, but also her relatively unknown voice as a musician. Kravitz’s band LOLAWOLF, which also includes James Levy and Jimmy Giannopoulos of NY band Reputante, have kept things DIY, self-producing their first EP and gigging extensively.
Miley and Zoë have been friends for a long time, Instagramming pictures of their friendship on the regular and appearing together on the red carpet at the Met Ball last night, both wearing Alexander Wang designs (Miley in Balenciaga, and Zoë in Wang’s own label).
