Missoni stays close to home for its fall/winter 16 campaign, shooting at the adjacent Segrino and Alserio Lakes just an hour from its Verase headquarters in Northern Italy. Though it’s a winter campaign, the water is welcoming. The images ooze warmth.
Frederikke Sofie Falbe stars, donning colorful oversized sweaters and coats with a sliver of skin here and there. The 17-year-old Dutch model fronted i-D this year, when she mused on beauty and realness: “I feel most beautiful when I’m natural and look like myself. I think beauty is about who you are,” she told us. Frederikke must feel right at home in these low-key images.
