Girlies, it’s that time of the year. The festive run-up is well underway, bringing with it the inevitable panic of figuring out your looks for the slew of Christmas functions ahead and what to gift your nearest and dearest – not to mention yourself! Indeed, there’s no time for faffing about!  Luckily for you, though, a very special someone has come through with the festive shopping edit that dreams are made of – yes, Emma Corrin has stepped into Santa mode, curating a selection of their favourite Miu Miu pieces from the brand’s Holiday 2024 collection.

An all-encompassing edit – spanning everything from point-toed pumps to brogues from Miu Miu’s recent Church’s collab, smart pinstripe suiting to glitzy bralettes – Emma approached the daunting task of curating their Miu Miu Select from a decidedly rational standpoint. “I feel like holidays mean a wide variety of different events, from carols down the pub to chic Christmas dinners to languorous family suppers,” they say. “I tried to find stuff that would work for any and all of these occasions! And any and all festive mood! Of which there are many! Sometimes you wanna get your legs out sometimes you want to be swamped in a Miu Miu coat.” Indeed, the chubby taupe faux fur harrington jacket that made it into Emma’s mix is top of our wishlist this year!

Tapping into Miu Miu’s inherent playfulness and fluidity, you’ll find the solution to almost any gifting – or dressing! – quandary you’re likely to face over the next month. Looking for an insouciant though still scene-stealing get-up for the office Christmas do? A slouchy lime green knitted jumped and marabou-trimmed satin miniskirt has you covered, and then some. The perfect bag for your doting mum? Here’s a roomy tan suede tote! And what about your Secret Santa draw, whose name you only learned when you pulled it out the hat? Well, the adorable plushy Wander bags on offerare guaranteed to suit literally any taste.

In keeping with the spirit of festive generosity, Emma hasn’t just pulled this off-the-chart edit for you – they’re even offering tips on how to style it too! Seen here in images shot by Alex Arauz, they pair a varsity blazer with a striped polo dress with a frou-frou trim for a preppy yet poppy look – though with the edit’s eclectic range, the possibilities of what you could do with the pieces are endless.

Naturally, the launch of Emma’s Miu Miu Select warranted a festive shindig, which is exactly what went down last night. Kicking off with a sleek cocktail reception at the brand’s New Bond Street flagship. The party then rolled on to the Hound Bar at swanky Mayfair hotspot George, where a glitzy roster of friends of both Emma and the house – including Lil Simz, Rina Lipa, Maya Jama, Stormzy and Harris Dickinson – pulled up for the occasion.

That said, the launch of the Miu Miu Select wasn’t the only thing that Emma was celebrating last night. After all, the start of the month saw the launch of “A Murder at the End of the World” on FX, “a mystery series with a new kind of gen Z detective, Darby Hart,” they explain, with Emma naturally taking the lead role. “Hopefully audiences find it to be a fresh and contemporary take on the classic ‘who dun it’, set in today’s Internet age.” Starring opposite Harris Dickinson, you can imagine the sort of anecdotes that shooting it must have proffered – again, in the spirit of the season of giving, here’s one for you from Emma: “Scenes with Harris were all a highlight for me. One memorable moment was when we were filming in Iceland. My wisdom teeth were coming through so I was prescribed strong painkillers. We were filming a scene where I was on a snowmobile and started hallucinating, thinking I was being attacked by bees. They had to send me home because, every take, I was swatting imaginary bees away.” Well, that explains what all about the series is about!

In any case, by now you’re hopefully feeling as full of festive cheer as we are –and with that, as keen as we are to hit the shops! You’ll have to be speedy though – Emma’s Miu Miu Select is available to purchase exclusively at Miu Miu’s London flagship, and only till November 30. Better make a bee-line for Bond Street!
