moschino pushes pop to the max for fall/winter 16

Man of the moment Lucky Blue Smith opened the Moschino show in London, where Jeremy Scott collaborated with artists Gilbert & George on a pop-tastic collection.

Continuing to pioneer The Moschino Effect, Jeremy Scott’s fall/winter 16 collection for the brand was like looking through a twirling kaleidoscope into Scott’s supersaturated, over-excited, totally poptastic mind. After having tea with Brit pop artists Gilbert & George, Scott was given permission to take directly from their archive. Clothes came printed with giant, graphic, fluorescent heads, crosses, and words like “HOPE”, “POWER” and “SPUNK.” Always one to provide the pull of celebrity, Scott tapped Insta-star Lucky Blue Smith to opening and close the show. He littered his lineup of boys with big-name girls like Jourdan Dunn, Molly Bair and Ruth Bell.
