How do you know Prue? Prue and I met in primary school, and have lived in the same neighbourhood for over a decade.
What do you guys love doing together? We love going for coffee and swims around our beachside homes, and love a long road trip when we find the time.
What does friendship mean to you? Friendship to me is a mutual exchange of trust and support with someone you connect deeply with. In the case of Prue and myself, our ability to remain best friends regardless of a dramatic changes in lifestyle has shown the solidity of our love and trust.
Favourite movie? My favourite movie could change within a day, however some that I constantly recommend are: Pan’s Labyrinth, City of God, and Spirited Away.
Who else would you like to be friends with more than anyone else? After listening to David Attenborough speak about his journeys, I wanted to sit with him for a lot longer, which would require entering the ‘friend zone’.
Favourite artist? Da Vinci had a heavy influence on me when I was studying drawing, however I tend to be attracted to Eastern art generally. I study film, and so photography catches my eye often. It is great to see Prue explore her passion as an artist and photographer.

What do you guys love doing together? I just love her company, we can talk for hours. Also obviously taking photos – I’ll do anything she tells me. It can get quite bizarre and we just end up laughing.
What does friendship mean to you? It’s such a strange thing to try and articulate. I think I’m particularly lucky – all my friendships are so easy. I think allowing your friends to do what makes them happy is important. I couldn’t imagine my life without my friends, they are intrinsic to who I am.

What do you and your friends like to do together? Honestly we love just hanging around. Sitting on the end of my kitchen bench drinking tea and talking. We can do it for hours.

How do you know Prue? Prue and I met on the first day we both moved to Melbourne almost four years ago, we probably bonded over art and missing our parents and pets.
What do you guys love doing together? We just moved into a studio together, so at the moment we love having (too many) regular ice coffee and sunshine breaks.

Who else would you like to be friends with more than anyone else? I’ve started getting to know this cool older woman who can see my room from her room two apartments down, I think she’s seen me naked, I think we’re going to be tight.
What do you and your friends like to do together? Mostly eat, sometimes make art.

How do you know Prue? I’m her boyfriend!
What do you guys love doing together? We like to party, go to the beach – the usual things! Maybe an unusual one would be our joint interest in old Australiana books. We try to stay away from too much photography stuff to avoid ‘creative differences’!
What does friendship mean to you? Well with Prue and me, I think it means complimenting each other well. I’m the stress head, Prue’s the relaxed one, Prue likes olives, I don’t like olives etc. We balance each other out a bit.
Favourite movie? Sorry for embarrassing you Prue but it’s gotta be The Castle.
What do you and your friends like to do together? We like to play music, do the occasional gig and share music we like with each other.
Favourite karaoke song? I think my new favourite, unsolicited karaoke song at the moment would be Stand by Me, but Living on a Prayer is an old favourite and the ultimate bogan dream would be Khe Sahn.

What do you guys love doing together? We don’t see each other that much anymore because we live in different states, so just hanging out and catching up with everything that has happened! However I do really enjoy watching her creative path of destruction envelop our parent’s house every time she visits. She’s also great for when I need a new display picture on Facebook, or want to upload an Instagram!

How do you know Prue? I’ve know Prue for 10 years now from school, but we only became friends three years ago when I moved down to Melbourne. Since then we have lived together in an old 60s home full of psychedelic patterns, collaborated on many projects together, such as a short film for a music event, and had many trips to Savers together.
What do you guys love doing together? Going on road trips full of madness, eating muffins and brainstorming marvelous ideas for hours in cafes and dancing to songs about spells.
What does friendship mean to you? Everything! My friends inspire my work all the time and I couldn’t live without them.

How do you know Prue? We grew up together like sisters. I spent more time at her house than mine. It was cute.

We live in different states now and we don’t see much of each other, but in the past there was a lot of dressing up in very awkward outfits, lots of movie making and photo taking! We’re both huge lovers of the ocean so when I see her we’ll grab a coffee and chill together at the beach.
What does friendship mean to you? This is hard. I guess unconditional love and understanding. I want to push them and feel pushed by them to achieve goals and aspirations. I like to do naughty things, so a partner in crime.
