Just when you thought you’ve had your full fix of winter drops, in walks Supreme, debuting their latest slick link-up with sportswear giant Nike.
The collection, announced this morning, is a mix of classic Nike and Supreme silhouettes, there’s the expected hoodies and tracksuits, though they’re twisted to be made from leather rather than cotton. The collab’s accessories include 14k gold rings, bandanas and sunglasses, and padded anoraks with removable hoods to keep you warm this winter.
The two have joined hands in the past on a number of highly coveted pieces, like the Air More Uptempos back in Summer 2017, a running capsule with Nike’s Humara line, and an NBA-inspired collection — all of which have skyrocketed in value since their original release dates. This winter capsule is set to follow in their footsteps – especially with the British-French hip-hop kid Octavian fronting it.
In a lookbook released to tease the collection dropping, we see Octavian giving the cold British weather the middle finger and jetting off to a bougie LA mansion instead. Dressed in the collection’s lighter pieces (tracksuits, leather baseball jerseys and wraparound shades), he lounges by the pool and in a regal, 70s bedroom, before hitting the streets of the city to show off where these pieces truly deserve to be seen.
Want to grab your own piece in Supreme and Nike’s collaborative fashion history? The collection hits Supreme’s online and IRL stores this Thursday at 10AM, except for Japan where it’s dropping a day later. Act quick or be envious of those who did.
