If the UK can take one thing away from the coronavirus crisis, it should be how precious and vital the National Health Service is. On top of the nationwide applause organised every Thursday night at 8pm, many companies and organisations have stepped up to raise money and support health workers in any way they can.
Today Palace have joined the fray with the announcement of a timely capsule collection, released in support of the organisation NHS Charities Together, to which all profits will go. Consisting of a t-shirt, hoodie and sweatshirt, all in NHS trademark white and blue, the iconic skate brand have repurposed their classic logo to read “National Health Service” instead of the usual “Palace”.
The announcement came at 11am today, coinciding poignantly with a minute’s silence organised across the UK for the 104 key workers across the health and social care sector who have died while working on the frontline of the country’s epidemic.
You can get the pieces online only from Friday 1 May at 11am. Get involved. Big up the NHS.
