Palace, prime purveyors of contemporary skate culture, are known for pushing the boundaries of casualwear. For hypebeasts and high fashion heads alike, their collections have been hot property since the brand arrived on the scene in 2009 as the brainchild of the brilliant Londoner Lev Tanju.
Fast forward 11 years and here we have it: Palace’s shiny new collection for SS20. For this season, the brand is playing with patterns, silhouettes and materials. The pieces we have our eye on? Mohair cardigans emblazoned with gothic Palace text, hoodies that riff on the iconic Panasonic logo and heat reactive puffer jackets. And for the most confident flexers, there’s also some pretty cool faux snakeskin stuff, like leather bucket hats and jackets. Don’t be surprised if the most coveted items get snapped up super quick.
This season’s lookbook, which you can check out below, stars Palace’s frequent frontman Lucien Clarke alongside skateboarders Charlie Birch and Dino Da Silva. i-D favourite Letty Schmiterlow is behind the lens, and it continues the longstanding, pared back Palace lookbook aesthetic.
To check out the full lookbook, head over to Palace’s official website and prepare yourself for the drop in-store and online: Valentine’s Day, 11AM GMT.
