It’s been just over a year since the brilliant label Body Promise shared their first compilation, Harmony From A Dominant Hue. Finally, they’re back with more: 14 brilliant, energising club compositions make up their second release, Fantastic Effects. Good title, huh? It’s officially out on November 24th, but we’re sharing a favourite cut a day ahead of schedule.
This one’s called Uh, by DIN — a collaboration between Sydney’s Rainbow Chan (AKA Chunyin) and Alex Ward (AKA Moon Holiday). As they put it, “the project was born from a weariness of having to be the ‘face’ of a creative project.” The song — we believe this is the technical term for it —absolutely slaps. Press play.
