To regular readers of i-D it will come as no surprise that we are the biggest fans of Marika Hackman. The now London living songstress has now teamed up with Reading based anthemic indie four-piece, Sundara Karma. In 2014 the band was all over the shop with their hectic gig schedule and in february this year dropped their acclaimed EP1. Now, in the midst of another UK headline tour, the band has readied EP 2 for Chess Club Records and we’ve got a secret piece of the pie to share with you. “It’s a song about being in a relationship where you need to go to complete extremes to find closure.” Explains Oscar, the bands lead singer. “A willingness to find solace in hardship and a disposition to cleanse boundaries.’ Arpeggiated synths and grungy baselines and pulsing drums ensue.
