London is a jigsaw of cultures, histories and identities. A patchwork where each piece is entirely different to those it surrounds. Where a bustling sub-culture can be entirely situated on one small street. As a result, the city is the perfect place to find yourself, your community and expression, while crafting the legacy you want to leave on this planet. This exploration away from the grind of work life is the same vision held by Reebok’s Legacy Collection; with two of their 80s trainers now reimagined to facilitate relaxation and rejuvenation within the lifestyles of a new generation of busy city-dwellers.
To explore how the adaptable trainers work across the myriad of the city’s styles, eight Londoners were photographed by Max Cornwall in fits they put together to pair with Reebok’s Club C Legacy and Classic Leather Legacy AZ trainers. Looks that represent them, their interests and their unique style-identities that have been moulded by the city’s streets they call home.

Desi, 21

Why did you choose this outfit to pair with the Classic Leather Legacy AZ trainer?
It’s comfortable but I also love the cut of the arms. They add a little sexiness.
Do you remember the first Reebok item you ever owned?
My first Reeboks were completely pink and I was obsessed with them!
Isabelle, 21
Model in Elephant and Castle, London.
Why did you choose this outfit to pair with the Reebok Club C Legacy trainer?
These are two of my favourite items to wear and because the outfit is quite oversized, there’s enough going on to connect perfectly with the shoes.
The original Reebok Club C trainer is 36 years old, what dream do you want to have achieved in 36 years time?
I will be living in Italy with my own vineyard and sit there all day drinking good wine and eating beautiful food.

Walking through the streets without a destination.
Betty, 19
