Produced by Boiler Room’s Sofie, Rejjie Snow’s latest deliveryis the product of the two artists hanging out in LA. “The track is called Late Again and it’s a song I wrote for my mom,” Rejjie told i-D this morning. “I’m just tryna make her proud of me you know, cause I guess that’s all anybody wants.” The track sits at just 2 minutes 36 seconds, comes complete with adorable artwork, and is gloriously hazy as as the rapper reflects on his childhood. He went on to explain that Keep Your Head Up, a track he shared via HONEYMOON’s soundcloud yesterday, is dedicated to a close friend. “It’s just something I made for a homie who got locked up. I wrote it for him to have as some kinda positive number to play behind those bars. I guess these songs are a lot closer to home so it’s weird putting them out, but yeah, that’s where my heads at…” Long may Rejjie continue to put pen to paper and share his stories with the world.
