Since its early days at Melbourne’s late and now infamous Mercat, REUP has grown to be one of the city’s favourite club night institutions. Started by Steezy and Tranter as an extension of their Triple R radio show Hood Pass, the pair have evolved the night into an entity that can very much be spoken about on its own. Now a New Guernica staple — RIP Mercat — they’re continuing to push boundaries and make sure you don’t see your bed until well after the sun rises.

Ahead of their next party this Saturday, they made a special mix for i-D to get us through the week. They describe it as being made to “piss off the conservative ideals that old heads have” when it comes to their beloved hip hop. Like the night itself, the selection is a mix of “genres, genders, nationalities, whilst being extremely turnt yet wavy in the process.”
