Congrats guys! You’ve made it through another working week. Your reward? Our carefully selected playlist of new music. Easing you into the proceedings, it’s the utterly beautiful Idea Of Order At Kyson Point from young pianist Tom Rogerson and some bloke called Brian Eno. The odd couple bonded over hailing from the same sleepy Suffolk town and are putting out an album (Tom’s first ever) named Finding Shore through Dead Oceans on 8 December. Next up, i-D fave Rina Sawayama (did you see the dreamy doc we just made with her?) just dropped a lovely mini-album and we like this Shamir duet the most. MØ’s surprise EP When I Was Young (we spoke to her about it here) is good enough to tide us over until 2018’s main event, and Dream Wife‘s electric new single Let’s Make Out comes accompanied by the very pleasing proposition of a debut album in January. Sweet.
20-year-old Paul Epworth signee Elle Watson just got herself stuck firmly in our heads. Produced by Clams Casino, her new song Glued is a proper grown-up pop song and comes with a very sexy music video to boot. This week also marks the return of Iceland’s Young Karin, the first record from Fever Ray in eight whole years, Avelino’s NO BULLSHIT album and soooo much more. If you follow us, we promise we’ll keep you up to date with the never-ending music release train. Enjoy!
