Somebody build Roland Tings a treehouse; this guy’s clearly got nature on his mind. Last year the i-D pal was Floating on a Salt Lake, now he’s dropping bushwalk banger Hedonist: a track inspired by a particularly exhilarating hike. The story behind the track goes like this: Roland was climbing a mountain, but by the time he’d reached the summit he’d run out of water. Praise the based god he stumbled on a stream during his descent, and did not end up dying of dehydration.
He turned the experience into Hedonist,a plush track that recalls birdlife, bushland and the very specific euphoria that comes with being saved from death by mother nature. Roland was really happy to find that stream – and you’ll be really happy you found this track. Press play, drink up.
