In celebration of the 57th annual Grammy Awards, Saint Laurent Creative Director Hedi Slimane teamed up with V magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Stephen Gan to host the party of the season. As guests stepped into Good Times at Davey Wavey’s on El Centro, through a hidden entrance behind a fake refrigerator, they were greeted by intimate performances from Sunflower Bean, The Garden, Bleached, Mini Mansions and Sky Ferreira, and searingly cool DJ sets from Jonny Pierce of The Drums and Ioanna Gika of Io Echo.
As if just stepping off a Saint Laurent runway or out of one of Hedi Slimane’s music-heavy campaigns, models mingled with musicians as they danced the night away. Free from the prying lens of Instagram, this was not your average stuffy awards party; this was rock ‘n’ roll at its most raw. Lucky for us, though, Hedi Slimane was there to capture everyone from Julia Cumming rocking out on stage to Sky Ferreira making sweet, sweet sounds. Take a peek at the world’s coolest party.
