Everything we know about season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars

It’s a brand Ru day, and a brand Ru game.

In June of this year, life itself will be premiering exclusively on Paramount+ in the US. And by life we obviously mean the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. This time, a record 13 queens will be competing for a much-coveted spot in the Drag Hall of Fame — but will all these stars shine as brightly as each other? As Vulture’s Rebecca Alter writes, World of Wonder may be “[stretching] the term ‘all-star’ to its breaking point”. The upcoming season will feature “multiple second-out queens, multiple All Stars repeaters, and so much season 11 representation” that things are sure to go (entertainingly) off the rails.

The queens who have been blessed by Ru’s benevolent offering of another shot at glory will be sashaying back onto our screens this summer, and fresh off the catwalk is a new, golden-hour-tinged teaser to give us a taste of the action. Second chances are paramount, yes, but who are these phoenixes rising from the mother-tucking ashes? And just when and where exactly can we watch them lip sync for their lives? Here’s everything we know about season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

    Who are the competing queens?

Starting their engines once again will be the Texan powerhouse that is A’Keria C. Davenport,  season 9’s Tennessee sweetheart Eureka!, dazzling Dallas beauty Ra’Jah O’Hara, and NYC’s own Scarlet Envy. Queen Silky Nutmeg Ganache will be rejoining the fray, fresh from filming her new YouTube cooking series, and Miss Serena ChaCha will be pressing pause on her wig business and career as a makeup artist to don her dancing shoes once more. Alongside will be Pose star Jiggly Caliente, the gorgeous, self-proclaimed “glamour toad” and fan favourite Ginger Minj, notorious lip sync assassin Trinity K. Bonet, safe queen of season 12 Jan, as well as LA legend Kylie Sonique Love, comedy queen Pandora Boxx and Vegas babe Yara Sofia. Clearly, it’s going to be a rumble for the ages.

How can you watch the new season?

The show’s sixth season will be airing exclusively on Paramount+, starting with a back-to-back two-episode premiere on Thursday, June 24. After this, the show will stream weekly every Thursday. Mark your calendars, girlies!
