Christina Nemec, also known as Chra, is the Vienna-based artist that experiments with low frequencies, noise-effects and sine-waves, all intricately processed through a tape recorder and analogue and digital effects. Merging dark techno and industrial feelings with ambient soundscapes, her music creates a feeling of complex trance-like minimalism. Ahead of this month’s incredible Berlin Atonal festival where she will perform alongside the likes of Alessandro Cortini, Shed and Shackleton to name but a few, we are treated to an exclusive Slumber Session from the woman herself. With 74 minutes of brain warping sophisticated sounds, press play on the deep sounds of Chra.
