This week sees the launch of Sole Supplier, an app that aims to keep fans updated on every new drop, update and event in the world of exclusive trainers. Sole Supplier, created by self-confessed sneaker freak George Sullivan lets users know all the confirmed stockists and release times of new sneakers by setting up reminders and sending direct notifications as soon as their chosen shoe is in stock at a retailer.

Sullivan sees sneaker culture as more as blind consumerism and aims to give updates on news around the culture alongside drops – something he thinks is best done by a fan of the culture. He says, “I love my sneakers and don’t stop wearing them – even on those nights out that require shoes – sneakers first, shoes in the trunk. It’s hard not to get caught up in the hype, especially with brands coming up with new concepts like the recent Nike Air Max 1 Patch SP. They are part of our culture.” Sole Supplier covers every release, and stockist of your favorite sneaker, so while it might not make sure you get those Yeezy’s, it could get you to the front of the line.
