Miu Miu are known for championing young Hollywood in their campaigns, enlisting the likes of Elle Fanning, Lupita Nyong’o, Elizabeth Olsen, Léa Seydoux, Adèle Exarchopoulos and most recently (and controversially) Mia Goth in their past campaigns. They aren’t breaking away from their winning streak anytime soon, choosing Goth’s Nymphnmaniac co-star Stacy Martin to be the face of their first fragrance campaign. Martin is a Miu Miu muse through and through, being chosen by Mrs Prada herself to front their autumn/winter 14 campaign as a 60s icon, photographed by Steven Meisel, and appearing in Cannes clad head to toe in the brand. Bringing the three M’s together once again, Miu Miu, Meisel and Martin have now created an image for the brand’s first perfume.
“The shoot was like no other thanks to Steven Meisel’s incredible sensitivity and talent,” Martin said of the shoot. “I am so honoured to be the face of the first Miu Miu fragrance. Working with Miu Miu is almost like working with family.”
