Noted legend Lauren Mayberry has always been quick to call out sexist behaviour. From 4Chan message boards to Instagram comments, Lauren will name and shame men who join in gross, dangerous discussions of women. She even penned an op-ed a couple years back explaining why she’ll never stand for online misogyny, and irl misogyny isn’t going to fly by her either. At a recent live show, she responded to a creepy audience member’s approach with trademark ease. When the punter interrupted her speaking to scream “Marry Me!” she plainly replied, “Oh come on.
