Giants of the street and the great outdoors, respectively, Supreme and The North Face have teamed up once again, this time taking on the extremes of Antarctica. The colorful capsule collection comes in primary red, yellow, and blue shades with contrast white, red, and turquoise zips and straps, as well as more muted black and khaki. Each piece features US flags, the brands’ logos, and a circular patch with a map of Antarctica, marked 1994 (when Supreme launched).
The Trans Antarctica Expedition pullover jacket and matching trousers are waterproof, with reinforced Gore-Tex and reflective patches, for when you go for a more serious hike in the great outdoors. Pair them with the Polartech fleece garments, and maybe you will survive in Antarctica? We honestly have no idea, and if you’re going on a polar exploration you should do more research than reading an i-D article. We can guarantee you’ll look cool in the urban wilderness though, for sure.
Check out the full collection on the Supreme website. It drops in-store in London, New York, Paris, and online this Thursday March 30, and in Japan on Saturday April 1.
