Mike Hill, cult artist and co-founder of renowned skateboarding brand Alien Workshop, is the latest in an every-growing line of Supreme collaborators to bring their signature stamp to the streetwear vanguard’s garms. To those unfamiliar, Hill is famed for bringing a unique aesthetic unfamiliar to the classic style of skateboarding apparel in the early 90s, manipulating everyday items into haunting visuals.
For Supreme’s spring/summer 17 collection, Hill has created four original dioramas, each of which will appear on tees and skateboard decks. It will comprise three short-sleeve tees and one long-sleeve tee, as well as four skateboard decks. The collaboration will be released on March 23 at Supreme’s London, New York, Los Angeles, and Paris stores, and online, followed by a Japanese release on March 25.
