Saskia de Brauw is a chameleonic shape-shifter moving through distorted natural landscapes in Jason Last and Jaime Rubiano’s new film for Missoni. Wearing the Italian fashion house’s signature trippy knits, de Brauw moves through a kaleidoscope of stone and marble backdrops that seem to expand and contract around her. Distorted ikat prints that look like sand art creations and marble vein patterns dance across long-sleeve mini dresses, separates, sleeveless maxi-dresses and capes from the fall/winter 15 collection.

An accompanying print campaign lensed by fashion photographer and international art star Viviane Sassen captures de Brauw amongst natural slate landscapes and marble plates by M/M artist Mathias Augustyniak. Inspired by natural landscapes, the campaign was also influenced by the “patterns, geometries and studied asymmetries” of the 80s postmodern artist Richard Artschwager.

A slightly darker hued menswear campaign features Roch Barbot in colourful check wool suits and a beautiful plum suede bomber jacket.
