Rookie by name, icon by nature, Tavi Gevinsonhas been the voice of her generation since she ignited the fashion industry at 12. These days, her online publication Rookie Mag focuses more on pop culture and feminism than fashion, but with a TED talk already in the bag, she’s an inspiration to anyone coming of age at any point in their lives.
Alongside Hannah Bronfman and Margaret Zhang, Clinique has tapped Tavi for their #FaceForward campaign aimed at millennials with the tagline “Make a promise to the future. And put it out there.” In her video campaign, Tavi tells us what we all want to hear, and it’s exactly why we love her: “Beauty and fashion for me, don’t have to be these sources of anxiety or pleasing other people. Wear the stuff that makes you feel good and then you can go about your day.”
