It’s been another year of truly deranged takes. Who amongst us can forget “knowing how to cook eggs is classist, somehow” or “cancel this woman for saying she enjoys drinking coffee in the garden with her husband”? Although 2022 was the first year in the last few of recent memory in which we were allowed to socialise off the internet, many of us decided to stay on the internet instead, and fight about who is allowed to have opinions and whose opinions were the best. If somehow you managed to miss those bad faith arguments and diatribes, then lucky you. If somehow you managed to miss the better parts of online discourse though, then also lucky you.
