The fifth annual Red Bull Culture Clash has been announced and this year’s battle lines are drawn between Eskimo Dance, Mixpak, UKG All Stars and Wiz Khalifa & Taylor Gang. Taking place at London’s O2 on 17 June, these four heavyweights of sound will go head-to-head under the eagle-eared supervision of host, Annie Mac. And the aim? To win over the famously demanding Culture Clash crowd.

“I think Red Bull Culture Clash is one of the most exciting and innovative live music events we’ve got,” said Mac. “It’s one of those events that is talked about and anticipated by artists and fans on an equal level. I have been there as a fan, as the host of a sound, and most recently as a host of the event. I’m delighted and excited to come back this year to host again.”

There’s a straight Atlantic split between contenders this year, with pivotal Wiley-founded Grime collective Eskimo Dance joining the freshly-formed UKG All Stars in the Brit corner and Brooklyn-based Mixpak fighting it out with Wiz Khalifa & Taylor Gang for the Yanks. Not that national loyalty will mean anything on the night that is. Fought over four rounds, this is every team for themselves. Expect a clash.
