Despite the endless debate over whether Normcore and Health-Goth are dead (long live Normcore) there is no denying that fashion’s relationship with sport is alive and sweating. While our Nike Frees may not be scuffed, Pringle of Scotland, Gypsy Sport, Alexander Wang, and Chanel have assured that flats and comfortable fashion have remained present on the runway.
With 2015 drawing to a close, the latest release of Nike Tech Pack looks like it will only help cement our dedication to comfortable fashion into 2016. The collection is built around lightweight layers of cotton jersey and other breathable fabrics to create a sleeker reimagining of the brand’s famously slick silhouette.
So while we can’t commit to actually running a marathon next year, at lease we’ll look like we could.
