    Where are ü now?

As David Wooderson famously said: “That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older and they stay the same.” Sadly, the same can’t be said for the cast of Dazed and Confused, who after two decades, have aged quite a bit, some better than others (soz Jason). With the cult 90s stoner flick’s spiritual sequel coming to a screen near you in the new year, we take a look at where Richard Linklater’s original cast of unknowns are now. All right, all right, all right.

    Matthew McConaughey as Wooderson
King of the Emporium, David Wooderson was the coolest kid of the bunch. Infinitely cooler is the guy who played him AKA Academy Award winner and True Detective super hunk Matthew McConaughey It was here that a star was birthed, later to be born again during his very own McConaissance. Let’s just ignore the slew of cheesy rom coms in the interim.

    Parker Posey as Darla
Queen of coming of age cinema, Parker Posey went on to star in over 32 cult indie classics. A far cry form captain of the cheerleading squad, Darla Marks, you can see Miss Posey next in the upcoming and as yet unnamed Woody Allen movie.

    Ben Affleck as Fred
Played by Ben Affleck, Fred O’Bannion was the baseball bat wielding bully with a penchant for beating freshmen and threatening to fuck their mothers. Like old McConners, Ben has had his fair share of shit movies, but then he’s also dropped some bangers like Gone Girl and Argo, which he won an Oscar for best movie and a BAFTA for best director. See him next in the new Batman movies, or better yet on Mail Online, for reportedly sleeping with his nanny.

    Milla Jovovich as Michelle
Still as dreamy as ever, and still saving the world from Resident Evil, Milla Jovovich has owned our hearts ever since she starred as Michelle Burroughs, coolest girl on campus, light of our lives.

    Jason London as Pink
Best known as starting quarterback Randall “Pink” Floyd, and lesser so for his star role in NBC miniseries, Jason and the Argonauts, Jason London was the poster boy of confused adolescence. You can see him now playing someone’s dad on straight to video Amanda and the Fox.

    Rory Cochrane as Ron Slater
Catch Rory Cochrane, who played stereotypical stoner dude, Slater, on reruns of CSI: Miami.

    Sasha Jenson as Don Dawson
Big on the sci-fi cameo circuit in the 00s, with brief appearances on both Buffy and Angel.

    Wiley Wiggins as Mitch Kramer
    Meh.

    Michelle Burke as Jodi Kramer
High school hottie to cameo on a film called LOL. Lol.

    Anthony Rapp as Tony Olsen
    Reportedly big on Broadway.

    Adam Goldberg as Mike Newhouse
Still pretty lol. Recently starred in the Lifetime movie Anna Nicole, based on the life of Anna Nicole Smith.

Joey Lauren Adams as Simone Kerr
Literally looks exactly the same. Like, is she even human?

    Cole Hauser as Benny O’Donnell
Reappeared randomly in A Good Day to Die Hard and Wally Pfister’s Transcendence.

    Marissa Ribisi as Cynthia Dunn
Now married to Beck, as in the musician. No, seriously.
