The Outdoor Cinema, a new urban boutique cinema concept, will launch in London this weekend. Shapes in Hackney Wick will host canalside screenings of The Wolf of Wall Street on Saturday evening and The Godfather on Sunday evening — and the weather is looking sunny for both. Then, The Outdoor Cinema will start touring from city to city, with four screenings already scheduled in Kingston, two in Kent, one in Durham/Newcastle and more to come in Bristol and all over, screening films including Grease, Mrs Doubtfire and Dirty Dancing.
Set up by a group of friends working across the media and events industries, The Outdoor Cinema promises to be a unique experience with visitor-voted film selections, tasty street food and summery drinks. See you there!
