    Leo Luchini, Bubblegum Creep

LDN/BER/NYC rapper and producer Mr Luchini has been Bubblegum Creeping around Peckham for a little while now. We’re into his good colourways, slow mo dog shots, and addictive production.

    Maggie Rogers, # (demo)

Maggie Rogers attempts to make sense of Tuesday’s political earthquake with a new song recorded in a London hotel room. It was “something I needed to say” she later wrote on Twitter and in four-and-a-bit minutes she took the words right out of our mouth.

    HMLTD, Stained

An absolute horror of a video from London’s HMLTD; a band that are quickly establishing themselves as perhaps the city’s most batshit brilliant proposition. “I think everyone’s a little stained,” goes the lyric. Come on, lads. It can’t be anything a bit of Vanish Gold Carpet Foam won’t fix.

    Shame, The Lick

Withering social critique? Stream of consciousness narratives? The barked howl of disaffected youth? We don’t know much about Shame but we’re totally wired for this one; a skulking, slinking, villain of a song.

Yellow Days, Gap In The Clouds

Through that gap in the clouds and those crooning pained vocals, we’ve found something beautiful in the 17-year-old Brit. Like an early Christmas present we didn’t know we wanted, his debut EP is due to turn up at the end of the month.

Childish Gambino, Me and Your Mama

Having already shared what was reportedly the full thing with fans during September’s The Pharos Experience in Joshua Tree, Donald Glover has officially announced the existence of his new album, Awaken, My Love. With a release date of 2 December, lead track Me and Your Mama has already drawn comparisons to Led Zeppelin; as the opening calm twinkles with heavenly funk and listeners wait for bars that never come, the evil laughter of real life breaks through at the two minute mark and brings the noise. “The only Donald I fuck with is Glover,” commented one YouTuber. Quite.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Rattlesnake

It’s the band with the great name and better merch than the Purpose Tour! You know when you say a word so many times that it just becomes a weird sound? That must’ve happened here. Greenscreening over something that makes us nostalgic for 90s computer games, the boys show off their fancy guitars and multi-tonal frets.

    Princess Nokia, Brujas

The almighty Princess Nokia aka Destiny Frasqueri is back and more powerful than ever before. Along with friend and collaborator, Asli Baykal, she created a beautifully-shot celebration of her roots. Good witches unite, use your forces for good, and don’t you dare fuck with with her energy.

    Stevie Parker, Better Off

Frome-born, Bristol-residing Stevie Parker delivers a fine line in intelligently nuanced and atmospheric pop – a little of Poliça’s Channy Leaneagh in the voice and something powerful about the way in which she doesn’t do a whole lot in the video. If you’re in London, you can catch her at The Victoria Dalston on the 30th.

Dean Blunt & Jonatanleandoer127, Fronto Kings

London’s Dean Blunt joins forces with OG Sad Boy Yung Lean for an ecco2k directed clip that sees the pair wandering through late night Stockholm. Is it a song? Is it three songs? We’re not really sure, but then again it’s hard to be sure of anything these days, isn’t it?
