Press play on the ten releases we've had on repeat this week.

    1. Noname, Diddy Bop (ft. Raury & Cam O’bi)
“Yall gon forget me when frank drop”, tweeted the Chance The Rapper affiliated Chicago talent yesterday as she released her impressive Telefone mixtape. Featuring indigo child Raury and grown-ass Las Vegas kid Cam O’bi, it’s not likely that the warm glow this track gives off will slip our mind anytime soon. Promise us you’ll listen to the whole mixtape?

    2. Warpaint, New Song
i-D faves Warpaint are back with a new song that is not only called New Song but is, rather handily, also their Best Song: insistent and persuasive like a Tango in the Night deep cut.

    3. salute, Storm
Never mind the killer moves and brilliant living room, these Raine Allen-Miller directed visuals celebrate the diversity of cultures in the UK in a time of national instability. Taken from salute’s My Heart LP, due out later this month, we’re looking forward to hearing the rest.

    4. Yassassin, Social Politics
Nice bit of a racket here from London five piece, Yassassin, who appear to possess hooks and swagger in no short supply. They’re on at London’s Waiting Room next Tuesday (9th) too.

    5. Exes, Like You
Slow-burning pensivity from L.A. dream pop duo, Exes who write songs about, well, their exes. It’s alright guys, we like you.

    6. Giggs, The Blow Back (ft. Stormzy + Dubz)
Peckham’s finest returns with his full length since 2013, recruiting Youngs Teflon, MC Casidead and, on menacing The Blow Back, Stormzy and Dubz for the cause. As we said last month, expect album Landlord to be blaring out of a south London car stereo near you this summer.

    7. Jacques Greene, You Can’t Deny
After two years of radio silence, the Canadian producer is back with a banger. Out on Lucky Me, You Can’t Deny that this something special.

    8. GIRLI, It Was My Party
Best. Lyric. Video. Ever. With her Oscar collaboration still on repeat, GIRLI does it again and in doing so proves that snapchat won’t be beaten by Instagram stories.

    9. Tove Lo, Cool Girl
“I’m a cool girl,” confirms very good Swedish popstar Tove Lo on new single Cool Girl, the first known example of a song accurately capturing the power of an eye roll emoji in aural form (check it out at 1:48).

    10. Jesse Boykins III, Indie Girls
Dropping his studio-fresh mixtape, Bartholomew, Jessie Boykins III called on young powerhouses Kilo Kish and Little Simz to bring the noise to the rather aptly titled – they both have their own record labels, Kisha Soundscape & Audio and AGE 101 respectively – Indie Girls. With further tracks featuring the likes of Syd, Willow Smith and Dej Loaf, the tape is well worth a listen.
