The Italian luxury footwear and accessories brand Tod’s has opened an exhibition of French photographer and graphic artist Jean Paul Goude’s iconic portraits at the Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Milan. From Grace Jones’ album covers to fashion editorials and advertising commissions, Goude’s reputation as an “auteur d’images” is in rich evidence.
The more than 230 photographs include famous cut and paste shots of Grace Jones and Farida Khelfa, as well as lesser-known gems featuring big names from Naomi Campbell to Björk.
