Versus, the Versace line now headed up by Belgian-Italian designer Anthony Vaccarello, will present its first London catwalk show at September’s Fashion Week. The brand did a presentation party for Vaccarello’s first collection in East London back in May, and it turns out it was a stepping stone to a bigger deal show for spring/summer 16. It’s part of a wider LFW shake-up, as the event moves from its grand Somerset House home to an edgier Soho setting in the Brewer Street car park (also to provide “an epicenter for a city-wide fashion celebration with close proximity to major retail spaces.”).
The 62nd LFW will see a comeback for pink-haired designer Zandra Rhodes, plus a return to the spotlight for Mulberry’s former Creative Director Emma Hill with her new accessories line, Hill & Friends.
