Design collective Vetements often asks its ardent fans to reconsider the familiar. After all, this is the French house that took the DHL logo out of working hours and sold it to the world as a must-have fashion item. Vetements’s latest offering follows a similar path, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary (and considerably more expensive).
As part of its fall/winter 2016 collection, Vetements has created the ultimate weed accessory — a grinder necklace that comes in silver and gold. At first glance it looks like a standard pendant carrying the Vetements name, but open it up and you’ll discover diamond stud files with a safety clasp and magnetic fastening. For $750 you’ll have to dip pretty deep into your weekend budget, but it’s hard to put a price on convenience that looks this good.
This isn’t the brand’s first foray into stoner culture; earlier this year, Vetements gave us a range of boots with Bic lighter heels.
