“All I Wanna” is the first release taken from Seattle singer Jay Park’s forthcoming Summertime Seoul remix EP. The former 2PM boyband star turned solo internet sensation who heads up AOMG (Above Ordinary Music Group) teams up with LA’s Hoodboi on this fiery remix of 88 Rising’s original beat, turning it into a blistering 90s-era R&B banger.
Premiering the video today on i-D “All I Wanna” features Lily May Mac, a lollipop and a popsicle. Directed by James Defina, with artwork from Travis Brothers and Dipika Walia, Park and his team continue to close the gap between the East and West with creative that flips effortlessly between Korean culture and references recognizable from R&B artists such as Tinashe and Chris Brown.
“It was dope to have been able to work with Hoodboi,” Park tells i-D. “He put a fun new twist to the track and it was nice to have Lily be a part of the video.”
