Lance Neptune is the young Maryland based producer making captivating cosmic sounds. Often compared to other atmospheric producers such as Chrome Sparks and Tyco and now, after a three year hiatus returns to Lone’s imprint, Magicwire with the otherworldly Animal Eclipse EP. Inspired by the space between here and the heavens, Lance Neptune creates cosmic worlds and transports you there through the fabric of his sounds.
Taken from the EP we are pleased to present the visual for the spaced-out 2-step garage influenced Janus. Describing the concept of the video Neptune explains “The concept of the video was to make it blend with the ‘Cosmic Oceans’ video giving off that similar vibe. I also wanted the video to have vibrant colors and lots of strange creatures.” Of course it was clear how much of an an influence the galaxies have on his music is he says “Im heavily influenced by space itself. The fact that its so many possibilities out there inspires me everyday to create the music that I do. I always envisioned making music for other planets. So I pitched to Rafael Bonilla that we should use more clay in this video and show actual life on this bizarre new planet. He took that pitch and ran with it. The guy is a WIZARD, He delivers nothing but quality and is always open for a challenge. The video is clean and it matches the concept that I envisioned in my head.”
