Filming for the upcoming sequel to Danny Boyle’s classic Trainspotting is well underway, and the crew are on the hunt for extras to appear in a nightclub scene. According to a casting call posted on the Facebook page of legendary Edinburgh nightclub Cav, the makers of the film are looking for people between the ages of 18 and 30 to attend a shoot at the venue on June 14. Danny Boyle plus the original cast of Ewan McGregor (Rent Boy), Robert Carlyle (Begbie), Jonny Lee Miller (Sickboy), and Ewen Bremner (Spud), are set to be in attendance, and the only other stipulation so far is that hopefuls come dressed in their finest 80s gear. 6,300 people have already clicked attending and a further 3,500 are down as “interested.” It sounds like a party you won’t want to miss.
