“When people think I’m going in a certain way, I have to go the complete opposite way,” Riccardo Tisci told i-D backstage after serving up a spring/summer 15 menswear surprise. Most of the audience were expecting a print-centric, multi-layered, perfectly covetable collection for summer – after all, that’s been Tisci’s great success at Givenchy – but what we got was much, much better in a a magnificently tailored collection embellished with floral prints and pearls.
