Having whet our appetites earlier this week with a teaser trailer premiered at the BET awards, Rihanna has now released the full 7-minute version of her Bitch Better Have My Money video. Not only does she star as the terrifying leader of a ballin’ girl gang (featuring “techno princess model” Sita Abellan), Rihanna also takes a co-director credit, alongside Megaforce, posting on her Instagram just before the release, “Ya girl got director skillz!!! The concept for this piece came to me 8 months ago!!! So you can imagine how anxious I am right now!!!”.
True to the trailer, the coiffed society woman (played by Rachel Roberts) does indeed end up in that person-sized box, and after being bundled naked into the back of Ri’s drop-top foreign car, she’s swung about by her ankles, gagged on a yacht and dressed up and fed bongs at a freaky motel sleepover, before being returned home. See, Ri isn’t after this woman: it’s her thieving husband, “The Accountant” (played by Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen) that gets seriously tooled, leaving Rihanna covered in blood, sat in a trunk of cash, topless and smoking a blunt as the sun rises on her night of retribution.
