“Getting ready for this I wondered about a lot of things,” Taylor says in the trailer for the 1989 world tour film. “I wondered what it would be like to perform for 70,000 people… I wondered what would happen if I invited the most amazing artists in the world to come out with me and perform on my stage – would they do it?” They did it. And not only did some of the worlds top musicians step out on T Swizzle’s stage, the pop star mixed it up with a special guest, musical or not, every night of her tour; Lisa Kudrow aka Phoebe from Friends turned up and sang Smelly Cat, Ellen Degeneres, Chris Rock, OITNB’s Uzo Aduba, Julia Roberts, Andreja Pejic and Lena Dunham were just a few to be initiated into the #squad.

It was announced at the weekend that the 1989 World Tour LIVE Concert Film, directed by Jonas Aklerlund, will be exclusively available for all eager Swifties on 20th December on Apple Music.

As if Christmas hasn’t already come early enough, Simon & Schuster have announced that they will be crowd-sourcing one Taylor Swift superfan, to be honorary author of a new book about their idol. There will also be competitions held to name the book, and design the cover art, but to have your name on the front page and be awarded $10,000, eligible fans will have to submit a 3-minute video of themselves declaring their love for Taylor. Apparently it will have the feel of a scrap book, and will be comprised of the star’s magazine profiles and other writings spanning her 10-year career.
