In 2011 Miu Miu released the first short in a series titled The Miu Miu Women’s Tales, a creatively-free platform fusing fashion and film designed to critically celebrate femininity in the 21st century. The film was The Powder Room by Zoe Cassavetes and in the time since there have been twelve more mini masterpieces by film makers and auteurs such as Chloë Sevigny, So Yong Kim and Miranda July.

Last week, Miu Miu started an Instagram account for the project, handing over the reigns to Kimi Selfridge, aka Tan Camera, a photographer, stylist and multi-media artist who made headlines last year for breaking A$AP Rocky’s Instagram with her great work.

To herald the Miu Miu Women’s Tales Instagram and in anticipation of the upcoming film by Girls choreographer Celia Rowlson-Hall, we’ve rounded up all the gorgeous, whimsical, funny, sorrowful and poignant videos they’ve produced to date.
