After witnessing him fly and literally walk on water in the recent video for Sign of the Times, Harry Styles’ next offering promises a considerably more down to earth portrait of the former One Direction member. Later this month, Apple Music will release Harry Styles: Behind the Album — a behind the scenes look at the making of his debut solo record. The film will follow him as he records between Abbey Road and a Jamaican studio, plays live, gets a haircut and uses a typewriter.
While the 30 second glimpse appears to be pretty straight forward music documentary stuff, there are a few surprises. Keen eyed fans have noticed a brief glimpse of the lyrics for unreleased track Two Ghosts, which include the lines: “Same lips red, same eyes blue, same white shirt, couple more tattoos / but it’s not you and it’s not me, tastes so sweet, looks so real, sounds like something that I used to feel, but I can’t touch what I see / we’re not who we used to be, we’re not who we used to be, we’re just two ghosts singing.”
Many have taken this to be a reference to Style’s brief relationship with Taylor Swift, and an echo of her track Style which is widely believed to be about him.
Sign of the Times will be out on Apple Music 15 May.
